INDUSTRY STANDARD
KPS Global is the largest provider of custom walk-ins to the convenience store, variety, supermarket, and warehouse club markets. With each unit custom-built to your specifications, our walk-in coolers and freezers set the industry standard. With access to our design and engineering services, your project will be built to your specifications.
PANELS DETAILS
KPS Global panels are modular for ease of assembly with interlocking tongue-and-groove perimeter panels. KPSG uses a poured-in-place, CFC-free urethane for superior insulation.
Panels can be designed for indoor or outdoor applications. Panel operating temperatures are -40F to 175F. In addition, panels can span up to 22’ without any additional support in most indoor applications.

CAM-LOCK SYSTEM
Panels are fastened with the cam-lock system to ensure a tight seal. Metal clad surfaces, designed to your specifications and with tongue and groove frames, are joined with a cam-lock that allows for easy and fast on-site modular assembly.
FRAMES
Panel frames are constructed of Wood, INSULFRAME® High-Density Rail (HDR) urethane frames or FUSIONFRAME®, a patented frame system that offers the structural benefits of wood and the high-performing insulative properties of foam.
Panels are available in 3½”, 4” or 5” thickness.
Wood frames provide structural support while HDR frames provide a higher thermal value. FUSIONFRAME® panels offer the best of both worlds without having to compromise structural strength for thermal performance. FLOORING
Floor panels are constructed in the same manner as the walls and ceilings except for the addition of a substrate under the interior finish. Floor options based on intended use and load requirements:
Foot Traffic: Galvanized or Stainless Steel skins over foam
UNIFORM LOAD = 700 PSF
Hand Truck: 1/2” Plywood under any metal UNIFORM LOAD = 1000 PSF
Pallet Jack: 1/2″ Plywood under any metal with field applied 3/16″ DTA UNIFORM LOAD = 2500 PSF
Super Floor: 3/4″ Plywood under any metal with stiffeners at 12″ O.C. and field applied 3/16” DTA UNIFORM LOAD = 5000 PSF
INSULATION COMPARISON
Foam is an important part of the panel. There are two foam options most often used in the industry (polyurethane and extruded polystyrene). Polyurethane foam results in a lightweight, low cost amalgamated panel. The structure bonds and cures as one. XPS is an inferior option and why KPS Global does not use this material in its panels.
