Senior Vice President
Robert Sorba joined KPS Global® as Chief Commercial Officer in March 2021.
Before joining KPSG, Rob served as the Vice President for Global Sales at Conviron Group of Companies in Winnipeg, Canada, where he led business development and increased sales productivity for brands in controlled-environment technology.
Prior to that, he spent five years with James Hardie Building Products in Chicago, Illinois, where he directed strategy, marketing, key-account management, sales execution, and product development efforts. He began his international sales and marketing career with The Procter & Gamble Company.
Sorba graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1998 with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting. He has dual citizenship in Canada and the United States and will be based in Fort Worth.
Steve Pearson joined the KPSG team in November of 2018 with the acquisition of Custom Cooler. He joined the Custom Cooler management team in 2011.
Steve has been in the walk-in cooler and freezer industry since 1975. Previously, Steve has held the positions of Vice President of Sales or Operations Manager with KPSG legacy companies Kalt Manufacturing, Kysor – Kalt Manufacturing, and Cooler Technology (Cool Tec) where he was a principal. Steve has also held senior management positions at Tyler – Kalt, Glacier Manufacturing and Diversified Panel Systems.
Steve graduated from the University of Oregon in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Steve and wife Cathy have been married 40+ years. They enjoy spending non-work time with their children and twin grandchildren.
VP Human Resources
Scott joined KPS Global in October 2016 as Vice President of Human Resources. Previously, he served as Vice President of Operations and Human Resources for GEA Food Solutions also managing North, Central and South America.
Prior roles include leading Human Resources and Operations management activities at Convenience Food Systems, PDS Technical Services, DalFort Aerospace and Steak & Ale restaurants.
Scott graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. He lives in downtown Dallas and enjoys travel, sports and cooking.
SVP Sales And Marketing
Sean McGrann is the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at KPS Global. Sean leads the development and execution of KPS Global’s go-to-market strategy, maintains key customer relationships across all business segments, and drives product innovation.
Prior to joining KPS Global, Sean was the Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service at Anthony, Inc. a Dover company. Over the course his ten years at Anthony, Sean held various leadership roles in sales, marketing, customer service, aftermarket parts, and service & warranty leading Anthony to maintain and grow its market share position domestically and internationally. Additionally, he serviced as a key commercial lead on numerous due diligence and acquisition teams. Prior to Anthony, Sean worked for Hussmann Corporation for three years as part of their regional supermarket sales team.
Sean graduated with a concentration in Food Marketing from the Haub School of Business at Saint Joseph’s University where he was a recipient of a NCAA, Division-1 athletic scholarship and varsity letter winner in men’s lacrosse. Additionally, he earned an MBA from the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University. He currently resides in Fort Worth, TX and enjoys a host of outdoor activities including long distance running and golf.
Christopher Loy joined KPS Global in January 2020 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Prior to joining KPSG, Chris was the CFO of Alpine Silica, an early-stage portfolio company of a large family investment office, where he helped the company graduate from the start-up phase. Before that, Chris served as CFO of Superior Silica Sands and CFO of JW Logistics. He previously held senior financial and operational leadership roles with BT Global Services, Time Warner Cable, Integrated Electrical Services, SYSCO and PepsiCo. Chris began his career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen.
Chris is a member, director, and past President of the Dallas Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI) and currently serves as Chair of the Committee on Finance and Technology, a national advisory group of FEI. Chris also serves on the Social Enterprise Advisory Board of Catholic Charities – Fort Worth. Additionally, he is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs, the National Association of Corporate Directors, and the Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance at University of Texas at Dallas.
Chris earned a BSBA from the University of Montana and an MBA from SMU Cox School of Business. He lives in the DFW area with his wife and has two children.
Tom Marcy, Chief Operating Officer at KPS Global holds an Industrial Engineering Degree from Buffalo and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Tom spent 23 years with General Electric in a variety of engineering and manufacturing roles across many of their businesses. Upon returning from a 3 year expatriate assignment in Europe within General Electric, Tom and his family moved to Richmond, Virginia where he was Senior VP of Hillphoenix. Tom spent 13 years at Hillphoenix, and during this time, among other responsibilities Tom was the General Manager for the Walk-In business which lead Tom into the role of Integration Manager for KPS Global bringing together KPS from Manitowoc and the Walk-In Division from Hillphoenix. Tom served as a Master Black Belt for several years within General Electric and is well versed in LEAN Toyota Production Principles.
Tom and his wife Suzanne, have five children with three in college, one in High School and one in Middle School. Tom is also a licensed pilot, loves snow skiing and woodworking.
Mike Eakins is the Chief Executive Officer at KPS Global. Mike joined KPS in October 2017 from Hillphoenix, where he served as the Vice President and General Manager of the AMS and INTL divisions.
Prior to his role at Hillphoenix, Mike was the Vice President of the INTL division for Kysor. Earlier in his tenure at Kysor, Mike also served as the Vice President and General Manager of the Kysor Panel Systems Goodyear plant in Arizona.
Mike has a Master’s degree in International Marketing from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University. He and his wife, Julie, have four children and reside in Fort Worth, TX. Mike is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Director Of Operations
Andrew Sweeny is Director of Operations at KPS Global. He joined KPSG in March 2016, first serving as Integration Business Project Analyst and Integration and Business Systems Manager. Prior to his current role, Andrew served as Director of Customer Operations for KPS Global.
Prior to that, Andrew worked as a Senior Financial Analyst for Weir Oil and Gas and as a Financial Analyst for Weir SPM.
He is a graduate of Texas Christian University, where he received a Master of Business Administration and The Citadel, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Andrew and his wife Jennifer have 2 children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, golf, cooking and TCU sports.
Director Of Supply Chain
Jeff Monroe is Director of Supply Chain at KPS Global. Prior to joining KPS Global, he was with Southern Botanical developing a supply chain program and team. While at Southern Botanical he was awarded the ISM/ThomasNet 30 Under 30 Rising Supply Chain Stars award. He then joined Bell Helicopter’s Strategic Sourcing team negotiating multi-million-dollar complex agreements for vertical lift parts and systems. During his tenure at Bell he negotiated well over $100 million in machined parts, castings, and flight and weapons systems.
Jeff is a graduate of Texas Christian University with a Master of Science degree in Supply Chain Management. He is married and has three daughters. His passions are working outdoors, spending time with his family, and raising his daughters.
Director Of Marketing
Ashleigh Martin, Director of Marketing, joined KPS Global in December 2016. Prior to joining the company, Ashleigh focused on customer analytics and lifecycle communications marketing helping customers from the agency side of things.
She is a graduate of Texas Christian University, where she received a Master of Business Administration and The University of North Texas, where she graduated with a Strategic Marketing Degree in Business Administration.
Ashleigh and her husband enjoy spending time with family, walking their dogs, gardening, and being outside! They are also avid college football fans and enjoy supporting local sports teams.
Laura Helm, VP Finance of KPS Global, joined Kysor Panel Systems in May 2012, as Controller, and later elevated to Director of Finance. Laura had previously worked for Kysor Panel Systems from 2004 to 2006 as Manager of International Accounting.
Prior to joining KPS, Laura dedicated a total of ten years as Director of Finance with ThyssenKrupp Airport Systems (a global manufacturer of passenger boarding bridges for the airport industry).
Starting her career in Spain, Laura accumulated four years as a Controller for an Engineering firm, six years as Manager of Corporate Accounting for a Bank, and initially, three years as an auditor for Arthur Andersen.
Laura earned a BBA with a major in Accounting, and an MBA with a major in Auditing by the University of Madrid, Spain. She holds a CPA license in the State of Texas, and has completed a contract management certificate program at the University of California.
Laura was born in Spain but moved to Texas in 1999. She is married and lives in Fort Worth with her husband, Tim.
Director Of Sales
John Guerrieri is Director of Sales at KPS Global. John joined KPS in April 2018 from Hillphoenix, where he spent more than 23 years in various leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Small Format Channel of Dover Food Retail, a division of Hillphoenix.
Prior to that, he served as Central Region Vice President of Sales and Regional Sales Manager.
John is a graduate of Youngstown State University, where he studied Business Administration. He is married with seven children and nine grandchildren. In his spare time, John enjoys attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, fishing, shooting pool and golfing. He is also very active in his church and is a member of the Duquesne Hunting & Fishing Club.
Senior Director Of Construction Services
Junior Burnside joined KPS Global in 2004 and served in various roles, including project manager, service manager and install manager before being promoted to his current role as Senior Director of Construction Services.
Prior to KPSG, Junior worked in the refrigeration industry in various roles for 30 years at Hussman-Refrigeration, Minyard Food Stores and Aircondex.
Upon graduation from Nimits High School in 1976, he attended Northlake Junior College, where he completed classes in basic refrigeration, electric and controls. Junior and his wife Christy have one son and enjoy spending time at their lake house. In his spare time, Junior also enjoys fishing and working on various DIY projects. In addition, he is an animal lover and has three dogs and five cats.
