The KPS Global® family is over 800 strong nationwide, and each person is a valuable and cherished member of our team. Over 100 of them have 15 years or more of industry experience. Whether they serve in engineering, inside sales, install, service, sales or in the manufacturing plant, their vast experience translates to a strong understanding of customer needs before they are even voiced. Having been an industry leader for over 50 years with our focus on quality, durability, and service, we know we couldn’t get the job done without an exceptional team making things happen every day.
Johnny Wood, our National Sales Manager, has been with the company since December 1994. Johnny has developed some successful programs for KPSG, including the training courses for new hires and a foodservice line “Delfield Walk-Ins,” which he grew from nothing to six million dollars in just two years. In addition, he has developed and managed two important teams: Environmental and Large Projects and Convenience Stores. Johnny has risen to the challenge of each acquisition such as restructuring, changes in management, and modification of products. He helped secure various large projects as well, including Dallas Cowboys Stadium, Denver Broncos, and American Airlines Arena. Even in the light of such successes, he believes his greatest accomplishment has been forming lasting relationships with great coworkers and customers to help KPSG accomplish its goals.
Another key player is Jeff Mysinger, our Production Manager in Tennessee who has also held interim roles as Plant Manager and Safety Manager. As a member of the Tennessee team, he helped grow the plant from a 75% efficiency rate to more than 150% at times, and the panel count has increased 8 times on a daily basis, all with more than one million safe hours on the job. In addition, Jeff earned his Six Sigma Green Belt certification in August 2011 and a Certificate of Performance in Principles of Lean (Lean Certificate Program) in March 2009. Furthermore, he has reduced external rework by 54%, resulting in a $71,000 year over year savings. According to Jeff, “Every day is a good day,” and “If you always do what you’ve always done, you will always get what you’ve always got.”
Ron Classen is the Plant Manager in Goodyear, Arizona. With over 40 years of industry experience, he is a valued member of the team. He is a true change agent and never shies away from challenges like serving under new management because of the opportunity to hear different ideas and learn new methods. As a result, Ron believes each experience has helped him grow as a professional and become a better employee. He prides himself on innovative leadership skills, his understanding of lean manufacturing, and his commitment to teamwork. Ron is a member of both the Structural Insulated Association and the American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers.
Jim Costanza is an 11-year veteran of the KPSG family and currently serves as Technical Fellow. With a master’s degree in Sustainability and Environmental Management, he has a strong and relevant educational background which includes his 2015 thesis titled “Environmental and Economic Assessment of Reclaimed Polyurethane Panels: The Case of Diverting Decommissioned Cold Storage Panels From Landfills and Recycling Into Three Forms of Insulative Building Materials”. In addition, Jim is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Salford, UK, in the field of Building Science. He has previously served in various Directorship roles, including Quality, Engineering and Sustainability, Team Operations, and Field Operations. Jim’s hard work and dedication have earned him the Vice Presidency of the KPSG Managing Partner organization.
Highly qualified individuals like Johnny, Jeff, Junior, Ron, and Jim, along with all our employees, are the reason that KPSG continues to provide excellent customer service. The company depends on the coming together of each employee to make this a happy and successful family.
