KPS Global® is taking a proactive approach in addressing potential impacts to our supply chain and that of our supplier partners as it relates to the COVID-19 virus.
KPS Global has taken effective preventative steps to ensure operations remain as normal. As part of this approach, KPSG has sent out surveys to our key supplier network requesting information on the immediate and potential impacts to their operations, requiring data that encompasses a 60-to-90-day window, which KPSG then analyzes on a weekly basis.
Thus far, the news has been positive. As part of their tariff-proofing strategies put into effect due to the shift in trade policies under the Trump Administration, our supplier partners have effectively reduced risk by establishing relationships with multiple supply sources for the same items, both offshore and domestic.
While the COVID-19 crisis is evolving, scenarios may arise that could have a negative influence. KPSG is closely monitoring the situation and making every effort to minimize and avoid possible impacts to ensure an ongoing, seamless supply chain.
Our suppliers must meet strict criteria to become a KPSG vendor to ensure they can react in situations like this.
