Combining two complementary businesses creating value for customers
Fort Worth, TX – January 30, 2026 – KPS Global®, a leading company in the ecosystem of Viessmann Generations Group®, announced today a strategic partnership with Everidge®, a Minnesota-based cooling specialist. The deal is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
KPS Global is a leading provider of custom enclosure solutions for controlled environments and has a strong track record in driving growth by providing innovative solutions to our customers.
Everidge is a family-owned business, headquartered in Plymouth, Minnesota, offering commercial cold storage, walk-in coolers/freezers, cold storage doors, mobile cold storage and cook-chill specialty solutions.

The strategic vision for this partnership includes:
- The transaction combines two complementary businesses to better serve our customers and employees. KPS Global’s customers are predominantly large food retailers, who rely on the company’s ability to produce custom-built insulated panels at scale to meet their needs. Everidge’s focus is on foodservice, convenience stores, regional grocers and controlled environments.
- The transaction will enable KPS Global to expand its product offerings and continue to invest in innovation, enhancing its ability to offer customers a broad range of innovative products. For example, the transaction will give KPS Global access to Everidge’s ICS product line of fully integrated cold room solutions, Everidge’s mobile cold storage solutions, Everidge’s in-house slider doors, and Everidge’s PrepRite line of blast chillers.
- Everidge’s six manufacturing facilities together with KPSG’s five manufacturing plants will allow the combined firm to manufacture closer to customer locations and significantly reduce customers’ freight costs.
- The transaction will give KPS Global access to Everidge’s extensive dealer network, allowing it to better serve the many foodservice customers who purchase their equipment through dealers.
- KPS Global’s installation services strengthen Everidge’s construction offerings, giving customers enhanced nationwide support for timely, cost-effective and high-quality installations.
The new combined business will create a diversified product portfolio that includes manufacturing plants across the U.S. with more than 1,500 dedicated employees.
As part of the transaction, Everidge’s owners, the Kahler family, will become a significant minority shareholder in KPS Global and have representation on the Board of Directors. Chris, Mike and Stephen Kahler will be joining the executive team.
Their appointment to the KPS Global executive team is both a testament to their strong leadership track record and Everidge’s proven entrepreneurial culture.
The transaction is expected to close following regulatory approvals including expiration or termination of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976.
