In honor of Women in Manufacturing Week, we are excited to be highlighting a few outstanding women that are a part of our KPS Global team. Our first featured employee is Lydia Frazer, a member of the Supply Chain department at our Piney Flats plant. Lydia joined the KPS Global family as a Buyout Buyer in 2021 at our Fort Worth plant. After about two years in this role, she became the Raw Materials Buyer at Piney Flats. She is thrilled to have recently taken on a supervisor role in this department.
As a Raw Materials Buyer in the insulated panel industry, she was responsible for purchasing almost everything for use in the manufacturing plant. This includes materials like the chemicals for foam production, lumber for panel framing and the metal skins used to coat each panel. She also purchases a variety of other materials including electrical items, tools, shipping supplies and more.
Lydia is excited about her role as a supervisor because it has already given her the opportunity to take on increased responsibility by focusing on company-wide initiatives and problem solving, rather than focusing on her plant exclusively. This has allowed her to think more strategically and work on cross-functional teams with other departments.

Lydia is proud to be a part of the experienced Supply Chain team at KPS Global because she is fueled by the culture of always going above and beyond. She feels motivated by the narrative of never stopping at the bare minimum. Overall, she loves the comradery within her team, especially the buyers of all five KPS Global plants.
As a cold storage logistics buyer at KPS Global, Lydia strives to maintain an open mind to any new project idea and always wants to get involved. She believes that one should believe in others’ ideas, because you never know if something will work until you try. She is a hard worker and appreciates that the uplifting, innovative environment at KPS Global allows her to fulfill her eagerness to grow.
Currently, Lydia is pursuing her master’s degree from LSU Shreveport, and she has a BSBA in supply chain and operations from North Carolina State University. KPS Global is grateful for Lydia’s positive outlook and dedication. We cannot wait to see what she continues to accomplish in the future.
