Busy Fall for KPS Global: Viessmann Acquisition, Product Launches & Trade Shows

It was a busy fall for KPS Global! Trade show season was in full swing while we launched new products and had exciting news of a new beginning.

Viessmann Acquisition

On October 1st, Viessmann Generations Group, a family-owned company with a 107-year heritage, acquired KPS Global LLC. This acquisition marked a strategic expansion of Viessmann’s Clean & Cold platform into the North American market, aligning with their purpose of co-creating living spaces for future generations.

Max Viessmann, CEO of Viessmann Generations Group, stated, “KPS Global and Viessmann are a perfect match. The KPS Global business directly contributes to our vision to reduce CO2 emissions and improve the quality of life for the world’s growing population.”

Following the acquisition, KPS Global announced a change in leadership to support its growth. Rob Sorba was promoted to President and Jason Edevold to Chief Commercial Officer. These changes aimed to enhance customer focus and expand the company’s capabilities, ensuring continued innovation and solutions for controlled-environment projects.

Trade Shows and New Products

We hit the road and highlighted our innovations at some of the biggest trade shows. It was great connecting with our current customers, meeting new prospects and having conversations about our cold storage solutions. Our booths showcased our latest products, from custom walk-in coolers and freezers to equipment enclosures, pump houses, refrigerated warehouses and more.

We kicked off the season at AAMP where we focused on walk-in coolers and freezers for food processing rooms. Then, we highlighted the latest in walk-in technology at FMI.

At NACS, we displayed the newest walk-in coolers, freezers and beer caves for convenience stores. KPS Global unveiled its next generation RefreshRecharge™ solutions, designed for the booming EV charging station market. This customizable product brings convenience right to the customer while they charge their vehicles, showcasing our commitment to innovating for the future.

While at WEFTEC, we showcased panel options for pump enclosures. KPS Global reinforced our leadership of walk-in coolers and freezers in the c-store market at C-Build.

We also introduced DEFENDOOR, our newest door protection system, at ISE. This system, composed of six parts and available in four different kits, offers superior durability and stability to enhance walk-in doors and combat everyday wear and tear.

It was a season of growth, innovation, excitement and change for KPS Global. We can’t wait to see what the future holds!
