Fort Worth, TX – November 4, 2024 – KPS Global® is excited to introduce our newest product to the market, the DEFENDOOR™ system, an upgrade that provides added protection for any walk-in cooler or freezer door.
Walk-in cooler and freezer doors have an elevated susceptibility to damage because they are high traffic points for carts, pallet jacks, forklifts and more. When these doors are struck, they can dent, scratch and even cause the surrounding wall panels to faulter. This threatens the integrity of the cold storage envelope and can shorten the life of the entire insulated panel system as condensation and ice accumulate in affected areas. The DEFENDOOR system reduces this threat by serving as a heavy-duty protective covering and even bracing the door frame to the adjacent wall sections. Ultimately, the DEFENDOOR system’s components serve as significant advancements from traditional stabilizers and kickplates, along with a few new product concepts including corner guards and side shields.
